If you just take a few disjointed courses that have nothing to do with each other, you will not build up the credits you need towards an online degree. An education plan is essential.
For instance, you wouldnt want to try to get your business degree at an art school. Maybe theyve got one class about art administration, but you will not be able to earn a full degree. If you start out with an online university degree program youll know from the very beginning all the courses you will be taking, and how long it will take.
Organizing an Online University Degree Program

You dont want to be studying something that wont be required for another six months. Some preparation is good, but you dont want to take away from your current studies.
